Mary Ratliff
Ratliff is a writer, storyteller, and podcast producer. The leader of Nine Hour Films, she is also the co-host of Revisiting the Vault, a podcast looking at the world through the lens of Disney films. Previously, she wrote and directed the short film “Catching Up,” which received the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant and a Visions Award for Outstanding Thesis Film. Her feature length film “Good Game” was honored with the IndieCapitol Award for Best Documentary Feature. Ratliff has a BA in film from Hollins University and earned her MFA in film and electronic media from American University. In addition to her film work, she is also a communications specialist for the Asia Program at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington D.C.
Angela Goad
Goad has spent the past fifteen years as a faculty member at Carroll County High School in Hillsville, VA where she has taught Applied Physics, Chemistry and Physics. While at CCHS she also spent six years co-directing the Theater program including productions of The Canterbury Tales and The Sound of Music. In 2000 she earned my MS in Education from Radford University after having earned her BA in Chemistry from Hollins College in 1998. She lives in Pulaski where her hobbies include reading and volunteer work, but her favorite way to spend down time is visiting family.
Nicole A.C. Hutchison
Dr. Hutchison is a Research Engineer at the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC). Her primary work through the SERC includes the Helix project, focused on defining what makes systems engineers effective. Before joining Stevens, she spent 5 years working for Analytic Services, supporting the US Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services. She was a member of the Body of Knowledge and Curriculum to Advance Systems Engineering (BKCASE) research team from 2008 to 2014 and is now the BKCASE Editor for Healthcare Systems Engineering and Senior Editor for Outreach. She holds a PhD in systems engineering from Stevens and is an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional. She currently lives in the Mojave Desert with her husband and son.
Cindi Weatherington
Weatherington is a Program Manager for a Government contracting firm serving clients at the Department of State and Department of Treasury. For Introductions Necessary she is serving as the Web Developer and reinvigorating her passion for web development and design. She holds an Associate’s degree in Information Technology and a BS in Psychology. She lives in Northern Virginia with her two cats, Reki and Myka.
